Collection finds a home in Cyprus
Architect & camera collector Nicholas Meletiou had built up a substantial collection of cameras over the past ten years and has recently donated most of it to a new gallery which opened in February in the Salonica Technology Museum in Cyprus. Using his professional skills to design the exhibition space, the result is a bright and lively display of a wide range of cameras from the 1890s to the 1960s, mostly comprising cameras of the black & chrome variety.

Obituary
Last year saw the sad demise of H D Abring, collector, author of several volumes and owner of a fine museum displaying his collection. His volumes of books were possibly the best illustrated, comprehensive reference guides available. He will be missed.
